Discover one of the Oregon Coast’s most captivating natural events with a guided tide pooling experience.

Timed to the season’s most favorable low tides, this immersive coastal experience invites guests to explore the vibrant marine ecosystems revealed along the shoreline at the base of the iconic Haystack Rock.

Led with thoughtful insight and a spirit of discovery, guests will walk along the beach from the Stephanie Inn to the tide pools at Haystack Rock. (15-20 minute walk.)

Guests will learn about the sea stars, anemones, hermit crabs, tide pool fish, and other marine life that call the Oregon Coast home from our passionate guides. Along the way, guests will gain a deeper understanding of coastal ecology, the delicate beauty of the Pacific Northwest shoreline, and the history of legislation that declared the Oregon Coast free and open to the public in perpetuity.

Stephanie Inn guests will be accompanied by tide pool guides from the Stephanie Inn and our sister brewery, Public Coast Brewing Co.

Advance reservations are recommended, as availability is limited to 10 guests per tide pool experience.
